Linux Resurrector is a bootable CD which provides some
tools for restoring crashed Linux and Windows based systems.
Linux Resurrector based on Linux 2.4 kernel. Some executables
was taken from Red Hat Linux distribution, some was compiled
manually.
How it works?
Linux resurrector boots from CD without mounting any
hard disks. It uses RAM disk to store writeable files (like
/etc/mtab file or /var/run directory). Root filesystem is
the image file on CD.

How to get it?
Linux resurrector is distributed as gzipped or bzipped ISO
CDROM image. You can download it from this site and burn
onto CD.
